Canadian defensive end Mathieu Betts is back from Motor City and ready to suit up for the B.C. Lions, expected to start Saturday in Victoria for the first-ever Touchdown Pacific game. The 29-year-old is coming off a career-best season in 2023 with the Lions, where he racked up 42 defensive tackles, 18 sacks, and four forced fumbles. Betts shattered Brett Johnson’s CFL record for single-season sacks by a Canadian and earned the title of Most Outstanding Defensive Player. He’s back in the lineup, and I can’t wait to see him make an impact this weekend!
