QB Nathan Rourke is back with the BC Lions, signing a game-changing three-year deal that’s unheard of in the CFL. Rourke is set to earn $749,200 in 2025 and $809,000 in 2026, with $6,000 in incentives each year, taking his potential earnings to $755,200 and $815,000.
In 2022, the Victoria, B.C. native was on fire, completing 78.7 percent of his passes for 3,349 yards, 25 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions in just 10 starts. He also rushed for 304 yards and seven touchdowns, earning the league’s Most Outstanding Canadian award despite missing half the season with a Lisfranc injury.
After a whirlwind NFL ride last season with the Jaguars, Patriots, Giants, and Falcons, Rourke is back where he belongs. The Lions are all-in on him, and it’s going to be exciting to see what he brings back to the CFL!
