Quarterback Nathan Rourke issued an apology to BC Lions fans after a disappointing first game back following an 18-month stint in the NFL. “I want to publicly apologize," Rourke said. "That was not my best football right there. I didn’t make enough plays. There were some things out there that I wish I had done differently.” Rourke struggled, completing just 8 of 25 passes for 125 yards, throwing 2 interceptions, and getting sacked twice in a frustrating 20-11 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. It wasn’t the homecoming anyone hoped for, but Rourke is owning it and looking to bounce back.
